Diane Keaton on the Lessons of the Ambassador Hotel

A thoughtful op-ed this week from the actress, who is also a trustee of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

She’s guilt-ridden about the demise of L.A.‘s iconic Ambassador Hotel, and laments the general attitude toward historic buildings in the U.S. She writes: “I’ll never understand why architecture is considered a second cousin to painting and film.”
