Will.I.Am has it backwards. Travel with your nastiest undies, and toss then after wearing. Better for the environment, keeps your suitcase from stinking, and gives you room for souveniers.
I actually save up all my oldie/holy/dead elastic ones for vacation.
This horrified my mom until I explained it was foolish to wash undies and then toss them like she had been doing. If I accidently wash those I planned to toss, I wear them again rather than wasting the washing and drying.
