- The Hawaii Superferry has suspended operation after a court ruling.
- The U.S. Consulate in Mérida has produced a public-service video for travelers. Passport posts it and offers some analysis.
- The Millions revises its walking tour of New York’s indie bookstores.
- This guy is taking an “un-road trip” across the U.S. Translation: He’s road-tripping without a car. (via Pop Candy)
- Gadling’s Jamie Rhein talked travel with Pico Iyer.
- These are the best sandwiches in the U.S., as picked by Slashfood readers. My favorite sandwich name on the list: Fern’s Problem Solver from Hi Rise in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
